The packages are provided for software requiring OpenSSL 1.1.1. Their were built from sources obtained at https://www.openssl.org/source, file openssl-1.1.1b.tar.gz.

CentOS packages

i686       Binary packages   x86_64
openssl_upgrade-1.1-1.i686.rpm   The shared library, required by the applications dynamically linked to it. The library is installed under /usr/local to avoid conflicts with legacy versions. The *.so libraries are named libssl_upgrade.so and libcrypto_upgrade.so.     openssl_upgrade-1.1-1.x86_64.rpm    
openssl_upgrade-1.1-1.src.rpm openssl_upgrade-1.1-1.src.rpm

For automatic install and upgrade with yum, place the file dmitry-kazakov.centos.repo into the directory /etc/yum.repos.d.
